- Working with Arnari Rilynn'sithek, the five Freelancers Dryali Tezbeth, Tahu Tuala, Kalleth Ebonygrit, Meurig, and Terrance devised a plan to capture Jamie Mais-Quand and remit him to Bryseis Seere, based on the information gathered by other Freelancers in the prior days.
- Once in position, Tahu and Kalleth discovered they were utterly unable to prevent Jamie from fleeing.
- Dryali slew Jamie's pseudodragon familiar.
- When Terrance, Tahu, and Meurig delayed Jamie from fleeing long enough for Dryali and Kalleth to catch up, Jamie did not fight them, but charmed Tahu and Meurig into fighting the others on his behalf.
- Once cleared of the charm, the Freelancers captured Jamie by knocking his fleeing gryphon out of the sky.
- The Freelancers stabilized Jamie and his gryphon – leaving the latter in Jamie's stable to recover – then searched Jamie's house to discover documents showing the Osprey is backing his vandalism activities.
- The Freelancers delivered Jamie and his correspondence with the Osprey to Bryseis at the Skyguard Outpost, as well as proof the gryphon is doing well, and collected their fee of 200 eagles each.
- Returned to Freelancers the same afternoon, and reported to Arnari the involvement of the pirate ship.
