- Tuala, Dryali Tezbeth, Tahu Tuala, and Kalleth Ebonygrit took a mission from Taleisin to clear out the Snake-worshipping kobolds which had established themselves a couple hours west of Orderly Stones Monastery.
- The Freelancers travelled to the entrance in good order and arrived same day.
- At the entrance Dryali provoked a pair of giant weasels, which the party slew. Tahu explored the tunnel beyond, triggering a loud alarm.
- Despite the loud alarm, the Freelancers found nothing alive in the cave beyond, other than some rats in a pit trap. However they did find a shrine to the Snake with much coin on an altar.
- Proceeding past the shrine to the Snake, the Freelancers dealt with an amazing number of annoying traps. Once past those, they finally found a large cave with the kobolds waiting for them and prepared for battle.
- The Freelancers wiped out all but one of the kobolds they encountered. All were warriors or inventors. They did not pursue any non-combatant kobolds who might have escaped through a small tunnel that Kalleth found.
- The Freelancers inspected the main cave and removed everything of value, including the kobold prisoner.
- Acquired: 60 eagles, 600 cats, 900 pebbles, 1 bloodstone, 1 chalcedony, 2 citrine, 1 jasper, 1 onyx, 1 sardonyx, 1 zircon, 3 alchemist fires, 1 vial acid, a periapt of health, 1 Potion of Gaseous Form, 1 Potion of Mind Reading.
- Also, Tuala found 5 incubating owl gryphon eggs.
- They removed the offerings to the Snake and smashed the shrine as well.
- Acquired: 500 cats, 1000 pebbles, 1 hematite, 3 tiger eye, 1 turquoise, 1 malachite
- The Freelancers returned to Orderly Stones Monastery and collected their fee of 100 eagles each. The monks took custody of the captured kobold, and disposed of 2 pendants of the Snake.
- Returned to Freelancers in Cliffshadow on Oriotag, 2nd prime post-Tumultuous.
