While Fine Branch and Cathance were off chasing Daystar lotion on Waypoint Tickler, the taxidermied minotaur head from a different adventure chasing Daystar lotion arrived at the Ripa Daneo Freelancers Tavern. Damakaios, leader of the Freelancers, made sure it was on display in the lounge in front of his office, fiddling with all the displays until they were just so, and he was satisfied. Quite a few of the Freelancers drew unkind conclusions about what took place in Damakaios' office when the door was shut: he was probably just rearranging all those cabinet displays.
After that was the Celebration of Periastron, during which some daring person actually went through the lounge and Damakaios' office weapon displays, disarranging them all in the most haphazard and funny way. One could almost feel the heat radiating off the Pungarehu hanyou as Damakaios contemplated all the chaos. Interestingly, the weapons in the locked cabinets were untouched.
Whoever it was covered up their tracks very well. He never did figure it out.
