- Damakaios, leader of the Ripa Daneo Freelancers, sent Fine Branch, Dryali Tezbeth, and Quelenna to hunt trolls to provide their blood and teeth to House Hadid, having spent some funds to learn some could be found off the Vathia Estia Tunnels. Freelancer help had been requested by Yolanda Hadid.
- Before departing, Fine Branch communed with The Cat to learn the Freelancers should search in the lower Vathia Estia Tunnels.
- The Freelancers brought their flying mounts into the Vathia Estia Tunnels, allowing them to fly over the caravans.
- After camping at the midpoint between the entrance and Vathia Estia, the Freelancers branched off from the main route in search of trolls. After wandering fruitlessly for a day under Dryali's leadership, Quelenna led the next day and they also wandered aimlessly.
- At the end of the second day, the Freelancers happened upon a large cavern with talking mushrooms, a marvel which caught their attention, until the banality of the mental conversation began to hurt.
- The cavern with talking mushrooms also had 3 trolls within, which the Freelancers' entry disturbed. The Freelancers slew both the trolls and the talking mushrooms, harvesting the parts House Hadid wanted and also the fungi.
- The Freelancers took the better part of 3 days to find the main tunnel route and return to Ripa Daneo.
- House Hadid paid 2250 eagles for the troll parts, of which 225 eagles came to Freelancers. The mushrooms were sold to Bluegrass Herbalism for 450 eagles.
- Returned to Freelancers Tavern Fysitag, last prime post-Fulcrum 1056.
