Haasje

Haasje is a medium-sized skylith in the outer reaches, its outward side shaped somewhat like a fat saddle and covered in eucalypt forest and mallee.  Its rain pattern combined with the effects of the eucalypts leave the Green dragonborn living thereon with little to no arable land, and since the dominant wild animal is koalas, there's not much hunting either.  As a result, food must be imported and there is fierce competition for control of exploitable resources.

Climate:

Dry most of the year, outside of a strong rainy season during Tumultuous.

Terrain:

In the west, craggy mountains of regolith and poor soils, dominated by hardy scrubs and Eucalyptus trees.  In the east, lower hills with better soils, dotted with reservoirs the inhabitants have built.  In between, in the "seat" part of the saddle, is mallee, with various seasonal streams and washes, and a few reservoirs.

Governance:

per clan; every so often the clans strive for control of the sparse resources

• Children of Āhua, mostly Wild elves, wander through the mallee.
