Skylith
Because of its orbit, the medium-sized skylith Zephyr spends most of its time in the middle reaches of southern part of the Skyway system. When that's the nightward, side its denizens are afforded spectacular views of The Cat Nebula.
- Orbit:
- highly elliptical, tilted, 21-hour orbit with apoapsis in the southern part of Skyway, and periapsis not that far from Nadezdha's orbit. No noticable precession
- Rotation:
- synchronous, which means daylight is variable with time of year. Longest night is Holiday of the Cat.
- Terrain:
- Gentle hills on the eastern side give way to valleys cultivated for tea. Beyond are low mountains with bamboo, sparse pine trees higher up, and plum growing wild.
- Governance:
- elders
Associations present:
- Bardic Conservatory in Lands on Feet.
- Children of Āhua have a small settlement [TBD] to the northwest of the tea fields.
- Freelancers have a Tavern in Lands on Feet.
- The Order of the Star Cat has a monastery in the mountains, surrounded by the pines.
- All three schools of magic have campuses on Zephyr, in settlements around half a day's travel from Lands on Feet.
