Lorcan, Sabah, Hanno, and Murai take the mission from Kaiea Tihani, Mayor of Cliffshadow, to investigate the placement of the map presumably tied to the faked death of Roberto Wendehals. They are derailed by a cassowary fiend.

Manu and Kaelani join Ondar and Glesni in following up on the prior day's murder investigation for Kaiea, Mayor of Cliffshadow. Later, Hikawera and Meurig join the others to help neutralize the problem.
