Olyokoma

Mighty Olyokoma, a salt water thalassa 300 miles across, looms above most of the inner reaches, influencing all.  Mist and clouds and funnels and twisters follow it, sporting rainbows; water drips below, affecting the weather of those skyliths which orbit nearby.  An observer would find much of its surface obscured, as it is big enough to sport its own local weather; but reflections of the Daystar glitter like tiny jewels off the water, for those who care to look.  Seated on its outward-facing waters is the atoll city of Namorik, a hub for trading goods with the rest of Skyway's denizens.

varies and hard to measure, because currents.
