Morris

The medium-sized skylith Morris, home to the primary Temple of The Cat, spends most of its time in the middle reaches of southern part of the Skyway system.  Apoapsis is close enough to Olyokoma that the two do brisk trade: wood and porcelain from Morris in exchange for fresh seafood.

Orbit:

highly elliptical, tilted, 24-hour orbit with apoapsis in the southern part of Skyway, and periapsis not that far from Olyokoma's orbit.  [TBD] apsidal precesssion from/resonance with Olyokoma

Rotation:

synchronous, which means available daylight is variable with time of year.

Terrain:

Tall grey mountains curving northward from the leading edge of the skylith give way to rolling hills to the southwest, and beyond plains.  The mountains are dotted with various quarries in different states and the hills and lower slopes have deciduous forests of oak and maple.  Fields of tea adorn the rolling hills.

• Council of Antiquaries has a campus in Nyan.
• The Great Workshop of Eternal Refinements has a workshop in Hides in Flowers.
• Navigator's Guild has offices in Hides in Flowers.
• School of Observing the Dance has a tower near the edge of Nyan.
• The Order of the Star Cat has a monastery in Nyan next to Temple of The Cat.
• The only known Shadow Cat monastery is in Nyan next to Temple of The Cat.
