- Murai, Sabah, Lorcan Puddingrass Pasternack Tuinstra, Dominic Holyarm, and Maghris Bloomfield the 18th accepted a mission from Korfel Goltorah, leader of the Children of Āhua town Mantzur, to find the source of the giant bees that have been witnessed in the meadows to the south.
- The Freelancers travelled to Mantzur in two days without incident.
- In Mantzur, the Freelancers got more details from Korfel. They also interviewed two Children of Āhua who'd been harassed by aggressive giant bees in the meadows to the south.
- The next day, Korfel consulted with Mama Bear; but she reported no hive of giant bees in her territory.
- The Freelancers headed to the indicated meadows and Lorcan, mounted on Bandit, was pursued by two giant bees.
- The other Freelancers checked out the meadow the bees had been in. At this point Murai was overcome by pollen and returned to Mantzur. Dominic found a place where plate armour had been and walked off.
- Once Lorcan rejoined them, the Freelancers tracked the plate armour Dominic had noticed, and encountered an armour full of bees escorted by three giant bees. Lorcan cast sleep on two giant bees, Dominic casts animal friendship on the third, and the Freelancers incapacitated the armour.
- Using beast bond, Dominic convinced his friend the giant bee to lead the other two back to their hive, then come back. In the process he discovered the hive location.
- Dominic's friend the giant bee took almost a full day to return. Meanwhile the Freelancers discovered the armour was full of thorny vines and honeycomb.
- Mantzur reacted poorly to the visitation by the giant bee Dominic had befriended. Korfel discovered the armour is powered by hag magic, and questioned whether the Freelancers had actually eliminated the hag plaguing Mantzur at the beginning of the year. He still paid their fee of 100 eagles each.
- The Freelancers left for Cliffshadow the next day, bringing the giant bee. Travel was two days without incident.
- Returned to Freelancers Tavern Petraag, 2nd prime post-Harvest.
