A large city on Duquesne's leading edge, Cliffshadow is a major shipping hub for all of Skyway because of its favorable location.  It is so called because the hillside from the central part of the skylith slopes up and then drops off dramatically, leaving the city in the leeward shelter and the docked airships floating off the leading edge.
