  • Naranjos Lafloriance, Ripa Daneo Freelancers Guild deputy, assigned Dryali Tezbeth, Fine Branch, Nix Frostshaper, and Terrance to investigate the sponsor of the demon summoning at the Vangdondalor/Ghanjashka wedding earlier in the prime.  Freelancer help had been requested by Talaa Vangdondalor and Victor Ghanjashka.
  • The Freelancers flew in inclement weather to the Vangdondalor estate at which the wedding was held, and after stating their purpose, were guested overnight.
  • The following day, the Freelancers inspected the tents and other equipment used for the celebration for signs of magical tampering, and found nothing.
  • The Freelancers also interviewed Musicaa, first daughter of House Vangdondalor, and learned about this very interesting device at the estate which monitored for magic.  They explored the device's limitations and ascertained the woman who had recited the poetry was not, actually, the demon.  She mentioned to the Freelancers that House Drogo of Cliffshadow considered Ghanjashka to be competitors; they also learned that the alliance was initially to be concluded by Musicaa marrying Patrink Ghanjashka, but he fled the skylith.
  • After their interview with Musicaa the Freelancers returned to Ripa Daneo.
  • The next day, the Freelancers paid a visit to Ghanjashka Villa, and interviewed Artem Ghanjashka, first son of the House.  From Artem they learned that Patrink remained off-skylith and bitter, so was not involved.  He also confirmed House Drogo of Cliffshadow on Duquesne stood the most to gain from the incident, but had at least one member in attendance at the wedding.
  • From Ghanjashka Villa the Freelancers then visited the House Drogo offices near Ripa Daneo docks, and spoke to Kalic Drogo, who had attended the wedding.  Kalic was apparently still shocked by what had happened, but given his propensity to people watch, they ascertained that other than the woman who recited the poetry, he'd not noticed any other unexpected guests.
  • Upon reporting their disappointing findings to Naranjos, the Freelancers were paid a partial mission fee of 170 eagles (minus the Freelancers Cut).
