- Cathance Lobdhain, Kalleth Ebonygrit, Tahu Tuala, and Garmir Moireibh took a mission from Kaiea Tihani, Mayor of Cliffshadow, to escort supplies from Cliffshadow to Three Rivers for bridge repair, and the engineer to oversee said repairs.
- Kaiea Tihani deputized Lizzie Brannan as the engineer, with Adam Crossman as the driver of a mule-drawn cart with the supplies, with the Freelancers escorting.
- The group travelled to Cliffgate without incident, lodging at The Hippogryph's Wing.
- Attacked by 4 grblins on their first night out of Cliffgate en route to Three Rivers. Slew 2, drove 2 off. One of the slain had a badge with a skull over scimitar device, which is new. Tahu keeps it to show others.
- The next day, the group was attacked by more grblins on the road to Cliffgate, injuring one of the mules. Grblins were all slain; one had the same device. Acquired from grblins: 41 cats.
- The grblins were placed in a cairn, and the Freelancers put a sign above it, HERE BE DEAD GRBLINS, as a warning to other travellers.
- The group arrived in Three Rivers later that day, and the Freelancers collected their fee of 100 eagles each from Lizzie Brannan.
- The Freelancers sought out the Town Guard, and told them about the grblins, showing them the badge.
- The Freelancers returned to Cliffshadow with Adam Crossman and the empty cart without incident.
- Returned to Freelancers in Cliffshadow on Kenostag, 2nd prime post-Cat.
