- Damakaios, leader of the Ripa Daneo Freelancers, assigned Fine Branch, Dryali Tesbeth, and Nix Frostshaper to provide security for the Ripa Daneo Mount Faire. Freelancer help had been requested by Mudra Copperfeather, the proprietor of the Faire.
- The three Freelancers toured the grounds the day before the Mount Faire opened, learning the layout and other groups responsible for security.
- Of note was catching 3 would-be thieves trying to steal a manticore in the first day. The rest was typical security.
- For the last three days of the 7-day Mount Faire, Damakaios replaced Dryali Tezbeth and Nix Frostshaper on security detail with Cathance Lobdhain, Tai Ho'oani, and Lorilla Anahera Amaia Turen Itu {Ana}.
- Of note was catching 2 thieves who had stolen 11 hippogryph eggs one afternoon. Again, the rest was typical security.
- Damakaios paid 225 eagles each for each half of the Mount Faire.

- Bonus: 100 eagles each for stopping manticore thieves (Fine Branch, Dryali, Nix), 100 eagles each for catching egg theives (Fine Branch, Cathance, Tai, Ana)
- Mission pay: 250 eagles each for each half of the Mount Faire (10% cut to Freelancers)
