Waypoint Tickler

The rolling hills on the outward face of Waypoint Tickler are almost impossible to detect becuase of the tall pines, spruces, and larches growing on the outward side.  The round skylith is 10 miles across, its oblate shape disturbed only by a cliff on the southern "side".  Its orbit in the outer reaches near a shear wall positions it to traverse an intersection of colder and humid air, which—especially near apastron—results in the frost and snow these trees love.

rolling hills covered in boreal forest populated by deer, rabbits, foxes, and the occasional wolpertinger.  South side of otherwise round skylith has a vertical cliff

good transshipping/resupply in and out of Grafton

Hazards:

proximity to shear wall can result in unexpected cold snap, or stronger-than anticipated storms; the winds and that cliff are attractive to air elementals
