Every skylith celebrates the holidays slightly differently. Commerce, being more cosmopolitan than most, still managed some of the more traditional celebrations of the Planting Holiday. Those in Ripa Daneo arose just as early as the more rural folks, to take a fancy early meal in preparation for the day, which generally was spent trying to get away with outrageous acts of reverse pickpocketing. People who did not wish to do that would try something new, out of their comfort zone.
The Church of Ua did not have a big parade like that held in Cliffshadow, but they did hold festivities in the crater where the river tumbled out of the gorge between Ripa Daneo and Gata Nahaki, and the water fell like rain.
Those Freelancers newly transferred to Ripa Daneo from Cliffshadow occupied themselves appropriately this day.
- Terrance went down to the crater, and had a picnic in the late morning. Later in the day she clambered up to the Sugar Glider Hangliding and tried it.
- Fine Branch created small paper adverts for various low-level pawnbrokers and loan sharks, then spent their time in the fanciest neighbourhoods on the Rim, planting these items on the upper crust of Ripa Daneo society.
- Tahu had his own adverts, but they were more like cards for brothels and such; he spent his time in Inky Agora handing them out, much like one would see in another time and another city named Las Vegas.
- Dryali, always locked out of Pteayo on Nadezhda, spent 45gp cajoling and bribing his way into obtaining a day pass for Gata Nahaki. Once there, he occasionally carefully reverse-pickpocketed dead mice into Pteroti when he thought he could get away with it. Primarily though, he was curious what they did to celebrate the Planting Holiday.
- Tuala spent the first part of the day in an introspective mood, wandering aimlessly, appreciating the sights around him. He was still considering that he'd… died in the Hasapis vineyards, and was trying to come to terms with it. Around lunchtime, he found various items in his pockets, shook off the mood, and also decided to try hangliding.
Tuala and Terrance had a blast, and Dryali didn't really share anything of what happened in Gata Nahaki with the others. Perhaps he told Damakaios.
