During morning repast, Adrian Bryant of the Church of Storms sent to Arnari Rilynn’sithek for Freelancer help to fend off an attack. Ondar Thundercaller, Glesni Bōhatei, Osric Torunn, Nix Frostshaper, Kaelani, and Kaikoa accompanied Arnari.
Upon arrival in the courtyard, the Freelancers found Waiola Vaina, the Typhoon, under attack by her own Storm Guard, thanks to two Daystar cultists.
Adrian was injured, but asked Arnari to help him dispell the glamour on the Storm Guard while the other Freelancers pursue the Daystar cultists into the dungeon to prevent them from freeing others of their cult.
As the pursuing Freelancers entered the building, a bright beam of light struck the melee, killing many.
The Freelancers encountered the Daystar cultists and were overpowered. Two "Daystar elementals" engaged the Freelancers' attention while Ethan, Gillian, and Petersen were rescued by these two other cultists. All of the cultists teleported out. A seeking arrow from Glesni showed they hadn't gone too far.
The sunburned Freelancers ran back up to the courtyard to discover the battle within was mostly done. The Daystar cultists were nowhere in sight, and those who could heal helped with the injured, including Arnari. Some of the Storm Guard remained suborned.
Piecing together what happened, the Freelancers found that two Daystar cultists had cast mass suggestion on half the Storm Guard to kill Waiola, then stunned her and stole her javelin, Bright Thunder. They had slain two of their own to spawn the "Daystar elementals".
Waiola paid the Freelancers 15 stars each, then offered the group that had accompanied Armari 750 eagles each to retrieve Bright Thunder and slay the escapees. Adrian gave them 4 bottles of holy water as well, in case that would help against the unnatural elementals.
Glesni used a raven animal messenger to exchange messages with Tomtom, let him know what had happened, and determined the Freelancers Tavern is doing well.
At Kaikoa's urging, the Freelancers searched in the direction of Glesni's seeking arrow and realized the Daystar cultists had gone to the docks. They split up to question the Dockmaster and a likely-looking dockworker, and determined the Daystar cultists had departed on a ship headed for Waypoint Whim.
The Freelancers secured passage to Waypoint Whim on the Aakshi, which does not depart until this evening. They returned to Church of Storms, where Waiola agreed to pay for travel and issued them a Church of Storms badge in case anything untoward happens during the mission.
Returned to Freelancers Tavern same morning and reported in.

Ondar Thundercaller, Glesni Bōhatei, Nix Frostshaper, Sabah Banu, Murai, Hanno Okohei, Torinn Myastan, Khalid Malone, and Minji were sent on the mission from Kaiea Tihani, Mayor of Cliffshadow, to travel the lair established by Roberto Wendehals and neutralize it as a threat to Duquesne.
The Freelancers took 5 days to journey to Three Rivers, without incident, and then another 2 days to reach the lair.
Upon arrival, the Freelancers observed that while there were traces of their prior battle with undead, there were no remains.
The Freelancers neutralized the trap at the entrance of the lair, but Murai was badly poisoned in the process and needed much attention.
Making good use of familiars to scout ahead, the Freelancers methodically worked their way through the various rooms, discovering multiple places in which bones had been stored for necromantic uses (including those Ondar had sabotaged on the prior mission), and statues had been animated with necromantic energy.
Most of the lair had been smoothed from natural caves, but one room in particular had scenes depicted on the walls, of a beautiful lady playing chess against an opponent, then raising the dead, which then burned and pillaged the countryside.
After a battle with zombie minotaurs, then a later battle against zombie wyvern and the same zombie bear Freelancers had previously encountered, the group found Roberto Wendehals, alive and hale. They corrected the "hale" and took him prisoner, after relieving him of his valuables, one of which was a receive-only stone of a sending stone pair.
Acquired: 2585 eagles' assorted coins, 2 bloodstone, 1 chalcedony, 2 jasper, 1 onyx, 1 sardonyx, black velvet mask stitched with silver thread, small mirror set in a painted wooden frame, 2 very large greataxes, 2 longbows & quivers 10 arrows each, 5 spell component pouches, 2 potion of animal friendship, 2 greater healing potion, Keoghtom's Ointment (5 doses), 2 bag of holding, Immovable Rod, pipe of smoke monsters, rope of climbing, +1 wand of the warmage, Nightside Scimitar, Tsunami Edge of Arcana
Exiting the lair, the Freelancers determined it was safest to bring Roberto back to Cliffshadow fastest, and Ondar, Nix, Torinn, Khalid, and Hanno flew back in 3 days. Their travel was without incident, but exhausted the flying mounts.
Arnari accompanied Ondar, Nix, Torinn, Khalid, and Hanno to deliver the captive Roberto to Mayor Kaiea, who confirmed to the Freelancers the "Natali" he knew previously was the "Natali" that had been discussed during the Freelancers' various investigations.
Ondar, Nix, Torinn, Khalid, and Hanno returned to Freelancers Kenostag, last prime post-Calm. Arnari paid them each 225 eagles, the mission fee minus the Freelancers Cut. Ondar gave to me the receiving half of the sending stone.
Glesni, Sabah, Murai, and Minji followed on foot, stopping in Three Rivers to sell the minotaurs' greataxes. Their travel was without incident, but took 7 days.
Glesni, Sabah, Murai, and Minji returned to Freelancers Vrontag, 1st prime post-Harvest, and Arnari also paid them 225 eagles.
Ondar Thundercaller, Lorcan Puddingrass Pasternack Tuinstra, Hanno Okohei, Sabah, Minji, and Shimni Ioelena Qinyarus accepted the mission from Kaiea Tihani, Mayor of Cliffshadow, to find the location of the map tied to the faked death of Roberto Wendehals.
The Freelancers took 5 days to journey to Three Rivers, without incident.
From Three Rivers, the Freelancers explored southwest, in an attempt to align their explorations with the map.
On their second day exploring, the Dao Ozo the Humble appeared and helped point the way, and the Freelancers located a cave in which Hanno confirmed there were undead.
Lorcan snuck close enough to see a couple skeletons inside the cave entrance. To draw them out, he shot one with a blowgun needle, but it collapsed into a pile of bones. As a result, 4 skeletons emerged from the cave to face the Freelancers.
The Freelancers battled the 4 skeletons as well as a zombie bear, defeating all. Ondar sabotaged the bones of the defeated skeletons.
The Freelancers inspected the cave, to find it was empty. A locked and trapped door led towards the left. Concluding the mission was fulfilled, they decided to return and report.
The Freelancers delayed their return by a day in order to search for a predator and perform a ruse that the creature had killed the skeletons and zombie bear. They discovered the area had been cleared of all large animals, and found the zombie bear's former den.
Upon reporting in, the Freelancers were paid 90 eagles mission pay by Arnari Rilynn’sithek.
Returned to Freelancers Oriotag, 3rd prime post-Calm.
Ondar Thundercaller, Nix Frostshaper, Lorcan Puddingrass Pasternack Tuinstra, and Block Lamtand accepted the mission to travel to Hindmarsh and establish the whereabouts and haunts of Raquelle Mais-Quand, who allegedly was the leader of Jamie and Cade who go by the same name.
The Freelancers joined a mule train headed for Hindmarsh. They provided extra security in exchange for food and 25 eagles. Travel took a full prime without incident, no doubt because of Ondar's flying bear, "Frostclaw".
The Freelancers took rooms at The Tipsy Tornado, and Block immediately noticed Raquelle and pointed her out to the others, catching Raquelle's attention.
After eating dinner in the taproom, Block got drunk and wandered off to view the tornadoes. Nix used disguise self and came onto one of Raquelle's retainers. Lorcan hid when Ondar tried to intervene, which raised suspicions in the targeted group.
Nix fled from the targeted retainer, Fishel, escaping out a window. Fishel found Ondar later and they exchanged words.
The next morning, the Freelancers discovered their gear had been tossed and they had been discovered. They packed to leave and went to breakfast, except Block who remained asleep.
While eating, Ondar, Nix, and Lorcan were surrounded by Raquelle, Cade, Jamie, and four retainers.
A fight ensued, in which Jamie and Cade knocked out and captured Ondar and Block; while Ondar had incapacitated Raquelle, and Lorcan and Nix had her captive on top of Frostclaw, with Jamie in pursuit.
Lorcan and Nix negotiated a prisoner exchange with Jamie and Raquelle, in which they traded Raquelle for Ondar and Block, who remained disarmed. Then they fled Hindmarsh, with Cade following them to make sure they'd gone.
The Freelancers flew back to Cliffshadow. Travel took 7 days without incident.
Back in Freelancers Tavern, Ondar blamed Arnari Rilynn’sithek for the failed mission, despite her paying the full fee of 200 eagles. With a little prodding from Lorcan and Nix, Arnari conceded that they should be paid the rescue fee as well, so they get 450 eagles each, although Ondar and Block must replace their weapons.
Returned to Freelancers Tavern Chaostag, 2nd prime post-Calm.

Ondar Thundercaller, Glesni Bōhatei, Mia Taumata, Nix Frostshaper, Sabah Banu, and Murai accepted the mission from Adrian Bryant of the Church of Storms to travel to Waypoint Alarm and determine, quietly, the disposition of the Daystar cultist lotion that had been shipped there.
The Freelancers took the Nimerigar-crewed mechanical airship Aster to Waypoint Alarm. Travel was 6 days, and they had to repel attacking quetzalcoatls whilst passing Olyokoma.
Upon arrival at Waypoint Alarm, Nix disguised herself as Marcus, a merchant looking for opportunities. The other Freelancers posed as bodyguards, but helped as stevedores for the unexpectedly shorthanded and overtired waypoint.
The Freelancers learned that evening that three of the tavern and warehouse personnel had become enamoured of the Daystar and had been going into the jungle daily, but then had disappeared, leaving the waypoint shorthanded.
The following morning, the Freelancers went into the jungle to investigate what happened to the missing Daystar cultists.
The Freelancers followed a well-used track through the jungle to a glade, wherein they found a stash of Daystar pamphlets, lotion, and some towels. They found no other signs of the cultists, but did note dinosaur tracks.
While inspecting the glade, the Freelancers were attacked by and slew two allosauruses and four deinonychuses.
Glesni, Nix, and Murai skinned the allosauruses, and Ondar and Glesni determined these dinosaurs probably ate the Daystar cultists. The Freelancers returned to the waypoint station and told Lustig Drakegaze, the station manager, about his people's fate.
The Freelancers maintained the ruse with Nix's disguise until they departed Waypoint Alarm 4 days later on the sail airship Sotis.
Travel to Cliffshadow was 6 days without incident.
Once back in Cliffshadow the Freelancers reported their findings to Arnari Rilynn’sithek who paid their fee of 180 eagles. Mia was dispatched to the Skyguard to report on Waypoint Alarm's staffing problems.
Returned to Freelancers Fysitag, last prime post-Apastron.

Ka Kekoa, Lorcan Puddingrass Pasternack Tuinstra, Torinn Myastan, Khalid Malone, Timmy, and Minji accepted the mission from Kaiea Tihani, Mayor of Cliffshadow, to confirm there were no more surviving Cassowary fiends associated with the murders that occurred during the prior eighth post-Fulcrum.
The Freelancers' Initial look around Guildstrom turned up nothing, until Torinn led the others into an alley and they were jumped by 5 human muggers.
One of the assailants almost killed Timmy, so Ka and his winged bear Ohenui slew him, and they captured two of the others.
The Freelancers queried their captured cutpurses about any unusual murders, but these knew nothing. They brought the captives to the Guard and asked there also, but the Guard had heard nothing either.
After checking around the area of the original horrific murders, the Freelancers decided to set up back in the alley to ambush any unwary cassowary fiends. When their plan failed to produce any fiends, they set up the next night near the house of the woman who'd crafted the fiendish dolls.
Cassowary fiends again failed to materialize at this second trap the Freelancers had set up.
With no word on the street and no other sign of fiends, the Freelancers reported to Arnari Rilynn’sithek and collected their fee of 90 eagles.
Returned to Freelancers Tavern morning of Fysitag, 3rd prime post-Apastron.
